BIOGRAPHY AND BACKGROUND 

I have been a resident of district 15 on Appleton’s south side for 15 years. My wife and I are both business owners. We have five children and a dog. 
I spent six years working for the City of Appleton, managing communications for all city departments.
My work for the city gave me insight into how all of the city’s departments function. I built relationships with many of the staff and I created a number of innovative programs for the city, including the “Appycademy” program that shows residents the city’s different departments through tours and presentations. 
During my tenure, Appleton was also recognized as the most engaging and best overall local government in the country on social media. 
I know how the staff works and I know the members of the common council. The experience and knowledge I bring from my time with the city, and the passion for public service I have will be a benefit to the both the staff and council.
